Cognizant and Temenos Strengthen Partnership to Drive Core Banking Transformation in Australia
Sydney, August 21, 2025 – Cognizant (Nasdaq: CTSH) has announced a five-year strategic collaboration with banking technology leader Temenos to accelerate digital modernization for Australian financial institutions. The engagement will focus on the Temenos Country Model Bank, a regional extension of Temenos’ core banking platform, aimed at reducing the cost, complexity, and risk of transformation projects.
Australian banks continue to grapple with regulatory changes and the burden of aging legacy systems. The new initiative combines Temenos’ cloud-native banking solutions with Cognizant’s deep implementation expertise, delivering pre-configured frameworks that shorten time-to-market and streamline compliance.
